When And How To Plant Magnolia Tree

Question From: C. Redding - FLORIDA
Q: I got a magnolia tree for Christmas and am wondering when it would be best to plant it outside

Cathrine, You can plant a tree at any time of the year in Florida. Keeping the tree watered and mulched will help it become established. Do not fertilize it until it has been in the ground for a year. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
