When And How To Prune Pachysandra

Question From: Clifton, Virginia, United States
Q: My pachasyndra is growing over my walks. When and how do I trim it properly?

I would prune it early in spring so new growth will cover the cuts. You can actually cut it back hard and it will sprout fresh now leaves. However it will not look too good for several weeks so you might want to just use an edger to cut off the overhang. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
