When Is It Too Cold To Cut Grass

Question From: Rustburg, Virginia, United States
Q: when is it too cold to cut grass

When the grass is frozen Bill. Cutting it doesn't hurt, but walking on it crushes and damages the crowns. Walking on wet soil is what you want to avoid. It causes compaction and ruins the structure of the soil. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
