When Should Loosestrife Be Cut Back

Question From: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States
Q: Do you cut back Loosetrife before winter

Yes you can cut it back now. In fact you should remove the flowers before they go to seed. Loosestrife is an invasive plant that invades wet lands and displaces native plants. It has been banned for sale and propagation in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minn. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
