Where Does Information On Yardener Come From

Question From: C. Haas - INDIANA
Q: Greetings, Nancy. I was wondering where the information files or articles for Yardener come from. I was thinking that maybe they come from your "Detroit News" columns or Jeff Ball's books, but I can't find anything on your site that states the source, and the files don't have bylines. I'd like to use your articles as sources in gardening research and writing that I do from time to time, but I need to know whether all files are curated by you or someone else with gardening chops or whether they're drawn from your columns and/or Jeff's books. Can you please help? Thanks and Happy New Year!

A:

Carolyn,The content of Yardener.com is the orginal work of Jeff Ball and/or myself. The bulk of the content is a complilation of research and writings of Jeff Ball over a period of 20 plus years. While some may have been drawn from his books, the bulk of his work is original to the site. My content is a combination of orginal work and gardening columns published in the Detroit News, for which I own the copyrights. Jeff Ball passed away on November 11, 2011. I am now the sole content editor of the website. Best Nancy
