Q: I'm trying to help out the local Bees and Butterflies, which flowers do they love best? I heard Milkweed is great for butterflies so I have planted that so far. Thank you Nancy!
A: Bernadette, Google "plants to attract beneficial insects" and you will find dozens of good sources. Don't forget trees and shrubs, and cover the seasons. Milkweed is the host plant for Monarchs and gets lots of press, Have fun flowering. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
