Why Are Birds Not Using New Or Old Bird Bath

Q: I HAVE HAD A VERY SMALL METAL BIRD BATH FOR YEARS, IT IS ABOUT 13 INCHES ROUND WIDE AND ABOUT 21/2 INCHES DEEP, IT WAS BRIGHT WHITE WHEN I GOT IT AND OVER THE YEARS IT HAS GOTTEN DARKER, AND EVRY DAY I HOSE IT OUT AND ALL THE BIRDS TAKE TURNS BATHING IN IT EVEN CROWS, SO I WENT OUT AND GOT A LARGER ONE ABOUT 20 INCHES WIDE AND ABOUT 3 INCHES DEEP IN THE MIDDLE, I HAVE HAD THEM BOTH IN THE SAME SPOT SIDE BY SIDE FOR THREE DAYS KNOW AND NOT ONE BIRD HAS SAT IN EITHR ONE AND THE NEW ONE IS A DULL YELLOW COULD IT JUST BE CAUSE OF THE NEW ONE HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME OUT AS I MISS THEM BATHING IN MY BIRE BATH
