Q: My cone flower should be hot pink and they came up this year slightly pink and mostly white. I also had purple hyasinths that came up white. Do I need to buy acid for the soil?
A: Tina, Acid will not change the colors of these plants. They are hybrids that are probably unstable and reverting to their parentage. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
