Will Dusty Miller Plants Survive The Winter

Question From: Norton, Massachusetts, United States
Q: I live in the northeast, will my dusty miller plants survive the winter?

James, It depends on the weather. I live in Michigan and I have had it survive the winter, but it is not dependable. It's a tender perennial, considered hardy to zone 7. It will bloom in the second year. Small yellow flowers on tall stalks. The plant maxes out to about 2 feet. It does not retain its compact form so doesn't work well as an edging plant. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
