Will Fallen Magnolia Buds Kill Grass Under The Tree

Question From: Crete, Nebraska, United States
Q: Can magnolia buds (that have fallen off) kill the grass under the tree?

No they will not kill the grass. When the lawn in mowed they will be chopped up and add organic material to the turf. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
