Will Neem Oil Spray Make Grass Or Pets Oily

Question From: N. Kelly - Baytown, Texas, United States
Q: If I use neem oil to spray trees for whiteflies, will the spray leave an oily residue on grass. I have pets and I don't want them all oily. If Neem oil does leave an oily residue, is there another product to spray trees for whiteflies?

The residue is not that oily. I have never had any complaints. The good news is that it's safe for your pets. There are many pesticides that kill white flies. Check at your local independent nursery. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
