Will Seeds From Marigold Plant Grow

Question From: Evergreen, Colorado, United States
Q: will the seeds from the marigold plant I bought grow

If you're asking that seed saved from the marigold flowers of the plant will sprout and thrive the answer is probably yes if you let them ripen, dry and store them in a cool dark place. That said, the plants may be hybrids and therefore will not come true from seed. Google the variety to find their heritage. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
