Young Magnolia Has White All Over Branches And Brown Buds At Tips

Question From: Virginia Water, , United Kingdom
Q: Fairly young magnolia has white all over its branches and brown growth (what could be the buds?) at the end of branches. It is now early June. What can I do?

Sounds like powdery mildew. Take sample in to your local independent nursery and a recommendation for control available in your country. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
