Question From: D. Murphy - FLORIDA
Q: I grew dwarf zinnias from seeds in small pots facing the afternoon sun on my back patio. They were growing well, but now in the afternoon the leaves are curled and some of the leaves have tracks on them. Some of them are about 10 inches tall others are smaller. What is wrong with my zinnias?
A: Sounds like your plants have a fungal disease. Take photos and a cutting or two of effected leaves sealed in a plastic baggie to and independent garden center or nursery that sells these plants for an accurate ID and form of control. Over watering and wetting the leaves using a sprinkler or sprinkling can are typically the cause. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy.
