Zinnia Leaves Are Turning Black

Question From: P. Christian - Gate City, Virginia, United States
Q: My Zenias are beautiful, BUT the leaves are turning black and look horrid. What can I use to stop this. Thanks

A: Black leaves are usually the result of a fungal disease. You can try Bonide copper or another broad spectrum fungicide. Do not plant zinnias in the same area next year and look for disease resistant plants. Best Nancy
