Rosa Sinensis Has Not Bloomed

Question From: ARIZONA
Q: I have a very healthy rosa-sinesis that has tripled in size in 6 mo. and looks very healthy, but it hasn't bloomed.

A:

Could be not enough sun or too much nitrogen fertilizer. Folks recommend Stokes hibiscus fertilizer from www.stokestropicals.com. They bloom on new wood and take three months or more to bloom after pruning. Hope this helps. Happy Yardening, Nancy
