Q: I have read about toxins put into soil by Norway maples and about their shallow roots as well as dense shade. What garden shrubs should we plant around them?
A: I think your confusing the Norway Maple with the black walnut tree. Choose shrubs that grow well in your area and are drought a shade tolerant. Best And Happy Yardening, Nancy
