River Birch (Betula nigra): buff-colored peeling bark, yellow fall foliage, tolerates moist soil, full sun, 40 feet tall plus, 30 feet or more wide, zones 5 to 7.
Cutleaf Weeping Birch ‘Laciniata’ graceful pendulous branches, deeply lobed narrow leaves, handsome white bark, full sun, to 40 feet high, 20 feet wide, zones 2 to 7.
