European Larch

European Larch (Larix deciduas)
Some feel that this tree has a more graceful form than the Japanese Larch. It is a large, narrow, pyramidal tree, growing to 70 to 75 feet tall and spreading 25 to 30 feet. It has scaly, brown bark on the larger branches that add some interest.

European Larch Choices
Pendula has a weeping habit and is usually grafted to a standard. Varied Directions is a spreading plant wider than it is tall. Listed as L.x eurolepisis.
