While you should want a healthy spider population outside, it is reasonable to assume any spiders inside the home will be unwanted guests. The best way to keep the indoor spider popula-tion down is having a clean house with few other pest insects.
If you see a spider, virtually any indoor insecticide will kill it on contact. For the natural-ists in the group, there is a cute little vacuum device on the market that allows you to suck up the spider and place it safely outside.
If spider webs do appear, there is a product called “Cobweb Eliminator” that makes cleaning up spider webs easier and its residue tends to discourage the reformation of a spider web in the same spot.
