Deer Off by the Deer-Off, Inc. - Deer-Off has been approved by the EPA as a deterrent to rabbits, woodchucks and squirrels. This odor and taste repellent wards off woodchucks from plants up to three months. This fact is claimed by the company even though no formal research has been undertaken.
Hot Pepper Wax by Hot Pepper Wax Inc. - The hot cayenne pepper in this product will protect plants from being eaten by woodchucks. Should be applied once per week to cover new growth. Once every two or three weeks during slow growth. The wax will prevent the material being washed away by rains. Will do double duty by killing soft-bodied insects that are on the plant. There will be some nibbling of plants because the woodchuck must taste the pepper wax before it can repel.
Scootä by Pest Solutions Inc. - Scoot™ is made from hot peppers to act as a taste repellent placed on plants. Will wash off by watering or by rain. Again the company uses the word training to define how woodchucks will react to their product.
Shot Gunâ by Bonide - Shot-Gun® Deer and Rabbit Repellent will also deal with woodchucks. The main ingredient is thiram (tetramethylthirum disulfide). The product is sprayed on plants and lasts up to six months. Protects shrubs, fruit trees, ornamentals and nursery stock from woodchuck consumption and destruction. It is an anti-transpirant, reducing damage due to water loss. May also be used as a pruning and grafting spray to protect freshly cut areas on roses, trees and other shrubs and vines. Product does stain, so be careful where you spray it.
6, Safer Animal Repellent by Verdent- This product is long lasting, an odor and taste repellent and is good for deer, rabbits, woodchucks, and squirrels. The product is made from purescent whole egg solids, hot pepper and garlic.
Hinder Deer and Rabbit Repellent by Pace - This product is made from ammonium soaps of higher fatty acids. Rain will wash this product and must be reapplied every 7 to 14 days.
Garlic Barrier by Garlic Research Lab - Garlic Barrier has a side benefit, providing some commercial growers a relief from woodchuck damage if Garlic Barrier has been sprayed on crops such as lettuce.

Do not let product wind drift.
Rid-A-Critter by Dr. T's Nature Products - Rid-A-Critter is composed of 100% naphthalene. Spread a one inch band around the area to be protected. Hot weather and wind will necessitate more frequent applications.
Rabbit and Dog Repellent by Dragon - This is a powder made of naphthalene, dried blood and nicotine. This product is banded around an area to be protected. This product washes in heavy rains, snow, hot weather and high winds.
