Dates back to when R.H. Shumway Seedsman first introduced the variety known as Buckbee's Abraham Lincoln - a mild-tasting, heavy-yielder that became the standard of excellence by which tomatoes were judged for decades to come. This crossbred hybrid of the original strain displays the fine flavor and vigorous growth habit of the indeterminate heirloom male parent combined with the female parent's earlier maturity and disease resistance. Fruits are bright red, globe-shaped, averaging 8 oz., but often weighing more. One of America's highest yielding tomatoes.
